Nice! A cute little filler bit - maybe within a collage of similar shorts. YAY! Naturally, thoughts of the opposite sex serve to create distraction.... I cringe at the "solution" SCHNITZEL might institute to "nip HERR DIETER's problem in the bud!"…

There was a missing sentence in there. "Not cornfields". As in its shocking that they're not cornfields. Yeah, that's it. Not that I saw vague yellowness and Iowa and assumed cornfields.

Our first update in a while!

It's short, so we'll let it speak for itself:

Saturday, August 29 @ 5:46pm PST

Characters, Colleges, Money and more

In this update:

  1. Our characters have just posted some more discussions in the forum and some more blogs on their profiles. Check them out and feel free to comment.
  2. The next submission deadline for the Character Consultant Initiative is tomorrow (Sunday) at 6pm PST. Then voting will be open for a week, followed by the selection of more consultants for more characters.
  3. Kevin's class now has four students, but is still waiting for ten. We're no longer necessarily going to hold the class on Sunday evenings, but rather on whichever day of the week is most convenient for the most people. Also, remember that the first two classes are free, and flexible payment plans are available.
  4. The deadline for initial submissions for the Musician's Initiative will be pushed back. Stay tuned for a separate update about the new deadline. We're working on making it easier for more musicians to participate, creating more incentive for them to participate, and getting the word out to more musicians.
  5. We need help spreading the word on college campuses. This includes contacting professors in English, Theater, and Film/TV departments, and asking them to tell their students about all of the opportunities we have available for them; contacting college newspapers and radio stations and asking if they'd be interested in doing stories about us; and getting the word out to the student bodies, in general, since they will be our primary audience base. There are many ways to go about doing this. Contact us if you need some ideas about how you can help in this area.
  6. We're attempting to raise more money so that once we're up and running, we have a better chance to stay up and running.

Have a great week!

I Filmed A Commercial and Sung the Jingle for it Today!

Today I had the pleasure of filming a commercial in the woods of Felton for Balance Studio Spas where I was featured getting a massage, enjoying the sauna and sung the commercial jingle. It was a beautiful place to film and I look forward to seeing this commercial online soon. I also met a nice actor to film with and saw the director (Melissa) again who had me on her radio show called "Sophy and Melissa" about a year and a half ago. It was nice to work with her again. It will be online soon.… Continue

Who Am I?

Hello fellow Lombardians. I haven't shared anything on here for awhile, I thought it was time. I recently finished reading The War of Art by Steven Pressfield. I thought it was Awesome and something every person pursuing their creative talents should read. I was inspired to write the following poem after reading it, which I will now share.

Who Am I?

I am not what others perceive me to be. This would be anothers vision to see.

I am not all the stories from loved on… Continue

East Coast

I moved back to New York for awhile. Looking at a few universities I would like to attend in 2011. Enjoying the 3 feet of snow I had dropped on me in the last few days. Spending a good deal of time on the slopes with my snowboard. Not sure of what I will be doing in the year it takes to start school in fall of 2011 but it would be nice if I could grab a modeling or acting job. Anywho, another day has come and I'm off to see what it holds. Bye for now.

Judy Cerda in The Last Deal Movie and Guest at Women in Horror Films Convention!

Today I did most of my scenes in the short film "The Last Deal" (formerly called "The Package") wherein I played the role of Victoria, a powerful woman in a criminal organization similar to the mafia. The filming went well and I only have one more short scene to film on another day at another location. After filming in Hayward, I rushed over to San Francisco where I was invited to be a guest actress at the Women in Horror Films Convention at the San Francisco Center. I w

it went fine

ummm so i dont know what happened but it was fine. This was the first character closest to myself so i think i was complicating it too much but im not satisfied with it but i am. As a director i want more, as i writer i want to correct things and i am relieved and as an actor for the first time i am relieved that it is over but like always i want to play her again. I am exhausted today, every ounce of me went in to this. And i hurt my leg... i don't know how i did that either.

What i liked abou… Continue
