Update 8-29: Characters, Colleges, Musicians and more

Our characters have posted some new discussions, the next deadline for the Character Consultant Initiative is tomorrow (Sunday) at 6pm PST, we're pushing the submission deadline for the Musician's Initiative, we need to get the word out to college campuses, and more.

I absolutely agree that the ultimate success of LS depends almost solely on getting content out there for the audience to connect with and it's primarily character driven. They have to bond with the characters and become personally invested in their stories. Isn't there any way to introduce characters to their fans that doesn't require the big budget, crew, location etc. What about character video blogs like we do on WTR. Maybe the characters could express what the CC's are writing as a video blog. They would obviously have to "look" and speak like their character. This was just off the top of my head but it seems we need something in the interim to introduce the characters to fans in a more realistic way so they can start forming relationships. If the funding seems to be on the horizon, it's probably not as critical but the longer it takes without getting characters out there for fans to hook onto, the more likely that interest could wane.
