Welcome to Lombardi Street

This is not your mother's show - not even your father's. In fact this is not even your or our show. Lombardi Street is a new way of creating entertainment, combining broadcast television, web video, social networking and virtual worlds - all in one.

The show will begin filming in Fall 2009, but work begins today. This show will evolve right here - for everyone to see. From initial auditions to final casting, production meetings, finances, triumphs and failures - all will be transparent and posted to the site.

An experiment that will be implemented is the new Internet phenomenon of crowdsourcing. Any person can apply for any position and each applicant will essentially audition for the job. They will be required to do that job, fulfilling the requirements and tasks assigned to that position. Many jobs will be duplicated or mirrored. Applicants will be eliminated based on lack of performance or not completing assigned tasks, until one applicant is left who will then be awarded to and contracted for that position. If the position re-opens for any reason, the process will begin again.

In addition, most positions offer two choices of remuneration - either by flat rate or through vested interest. Flat rate is the fixed salary or wage associated with the position. Vested interest allows the employee to become owner. Instead of a fixed income, the position will pay a percentage of received revenue after costs - and all revenue and costs are clearly laid out for all to see.
